Meet Shelby:
Q: How long have you worked here?
A: I began working for Shea Homes in February of 2020 and helped bring the Information Center to life – even in the midst of a pandemic – we officially celebrated our opening in May of 2020.
Q: What do you like about working at the community’s Information Center?
A: I love being able to help potential home buyers find exactly what they are looking for in this beautiful community!
Q: Where are you from and where do you live now?
A: I am originally from Seattle and now live in Denver.
Q: What’s your favorite drink or food item offered at The Exchange Coffee House?
A: My perfect morning at work starts with a oat milk latte and a toffee crunch cookie.
Q: Tell us about some of your hobbies.
A: I am passionate about cooking. I make my own spice blends and will force feed you if you find yourself at my house.
Q: Fun fact most people don’t know about you.
A: I was interviewed for an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The re-run of the episode plays all the time and I still get people texting me randomly going “Is that you in the background?” The answer is YES that is me eating a Lobster Roll in the background of that one episode.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: We have a rescue dog named Merlin. We did his DNA and it turns out he is half chihuahua which is funny because he is 32 pounds. Now when people ask what type of dog, he is we tell them that he is a “Rugged Mountain Chihuahua.”
Q: Who’s your favorite musical performer or band?
A: Beyonce is my Queen.
