On a couple of summer sunny days, beneath a simple structure set in one of the meadows here, hundreds of friends and neighbors got a taste (literally) of the vision for The Canyons. It was a celebration of the natural, the artful and the local. With all sorts of yummies made from fresh, Colorado-grown ingredients. With artists and musicians setting the tone. A naturalist gave everyone a better understanding of native flora and fauna. And a community planner took the guests on guided tours of the land, describing how the design for The Canyons would bring people in closer contact with the environment.
