environmental stewardship

First, we will respect what is most precious and most distinctive about this place — the natural landscape and wildlife habitat. So The Canyons (as the name suggests) will celebrate the rugged topography as well as the mature Gambel oaks and cottonwoods that are so much a part of this landscape. We’ll dedicate over half of the land to both native and recreational open spaces. And we’ll do our part to minimize our impact on the planet by conserving natural resources like water and fossil fuels, implementing renewable energy sources including solar and wind, and significantly reducing our net carbon footprint.
